Following several years of planning, Warrington Township officials have voted unanimously to move forward with a project that will construct 32 townhomes on a 4.52-acre property on Easton Road, writes Lacey Latch for the Bucks County Courier Times.
The property at the Georges Lane intersection will be split into four townhome sections, while also providing 8,500 square feet of open space. In addition, the developer has proposed a small retail development directly across Easton Road.
The approval places Warrington among a rising number of Bucks County municipalities moving forward with townhome developments. One example is the construction of 23 two-story townhomes off Ferry Road in Doylestown Township, which are expected to fetch prices of around $900,000 each.
Meanwhile, Levittown is preparing to add 34 townhouses on the former Knights of Columbus site.
