King of Prussia is getting a front-row seat to one of television’s biggest finales, writes Justin Heinze for Patch,
The new Netflix House will host a special screening of the Stranger Things series finale on New Year’s Day, making it the only location in Montco selected for the event.
According to Netflix House, the event will immerse fans in the world of Hawkins, complete with themed food, drinks, and giveaways designed to mark the end of the hit sci-fi series.
The Stranger Things finale will run a feature-length 2 hours and 5 minutes, giving fans an extended sendoff for the show that has become a cultural phenomenon since its debut. The final season has been released in stages, with the first four episodes dropping over Thanksgiving, followed by three more on Christmas Day. The finale itself will premiere on New Year’s Eve, the same day theatrical screenings begin.
Outside of Netflix House, only a handful of regional theaters will show the finale, including locations in Bucks County and South Jersey. That makes King of Prussia a central hub for local fans looking to celebrate the show’s conclusion together.
