Widener University in Chester announced the students named to its homecoming court for 2025.
Members of the court are nominated by their peers for their leadership, spirit, integrity, achievement, and contributions to the Widener community.
Homecoming was celebrated over the week of Oct. 6, and culminated with the football game at Leslie C. Quick Jr. Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 11. The court was presented at halftime.
It included:
- Rashem Bryant from Swedesboro, New Jersey (08085), a senior who is studying economics. Bryant was named a homecoming royal.
- Maritza Garcia from Bensalem, Pennsylvania (19020), a senior who is studying nursing. Garcia was named a homecoming royal.
- Tamiya Anderson from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (19129), a senior who is studying digital media informatics.
- Tavia Fair from Middletown, Delaware (19709), a senior who is studying criminal justice.
- Nyla Hyman from Bear, Delaware (19701), a senior who is studying psychology.
- Aniya Moore from Elkins Park, Pennsylvania (19027), a senior who is studying psychology.
- Saleeth Ulloa Lasso from Riobamba, Ecuador, a senior who is studying international relations, French, and political science.
- Amanda Rappa from Springfield, Pennsylvania (19064), a senior who is studying communications.
