The newly opened Frazer Antique Market is bringing one-of-a-kind antiques to Chester County, writes Bill Rettew for The Daily Local News.
Shoppers can find a wide range of vintage goods in the Frazer shop, from home wares to décor to clothing. Antique jewelry, dishware, stained glass, and more entirely unique finds fill every corner of the 3,300 square foot space.
Visitors are already admiring the eclectic selection of goods. Customers report that the selection of curated local goods with a storied past makes for a completely unique shopping experience.
The opening of Frazer Antique Market comes after Frazer Antiques, which was set to close after thirty years in business. The owners collaborated with new owner Kristin Smith to reopen as Frazer Antique Market.
The new space is located less than a mile from the original shop and features sixteen new dealers.
The new shop also features a classroom space for pottery, jewelry making, silver polishing classes. The business is currently seeking teachers for upcoming classes.
At the grand opening, shopper Victoria Naftal spoke about the value of antique goods. Naftal appreciates the items’ durable craftsmanship compared to more disposable modern items.
About the shop and her excitement for the future, Smith said, “I really want to be a place for the community to come together, for people to talk and get to know your neighbor. Antiques and this kind of store bring people together.”
