RD’s Total Lawn in Langhorne recently supercharged maintenance services by adding a complementary GT30 riding aerator, writes Scott Hollister for Landscape Management.
Ryan Dittes founded the company eight years ago as a passion project while working full-time for a local Coca-Cola distributor. As his business grew, he left his job in the soda industry a year ago to fully dedicate himself to lawn care.
Recently, Dittes received a call from Stinger Equipment’s Dustin McGehee to discuss an offer in partnership with Landscape Management to provide his company with a new, free GT30 riding aerator.
“It sounded a little too good to be true, honestly,” said Dittes.
But the offer was legitimate and aimed to promote aeration while building awareness of its value. Thanks to the new addition, Dittes has now set his sights high this fall.
“We’re really excited about the prospects for this year … and we’re looking to grow that business by 40 percent from last year, which would be close to 300 services this fall,” said Dittes. “That would be a very big accomplishment for us, and we feel like (the Stinger GT30) is really going to help grow and scale that business.”
