After four years of development, Doylestown Township officials approved a luxury housing project that will consist of 23 new townhomes, writes Lacey Latch for the Bucks County Courier Times.
County Builders, a Warminster-based company, is developing the neighborhood, which will feature homes selling for around $900,000.
The units will each feature a two-car garage, a two-car driveway and a basement. Those interested will have the option to install electric vehicle charging stations in their garage.
The homes will be accessible by a long driveway off Ferry Road, which will take drivers up to the loop of homes. The thin cul-de-sac development will be surrounded by trees, which will act as a barrier between Swamp Road and the property.
County Builders Vice President Kevin Reilly announced that the space will include a gazebo or pavilion in the center strip between the houses, as well as benches.
The designs of the homes are still in the early stages, but Reilly stated that they will look similar to the company’s Walden Square homes in Newtown, which have brick and natural stone facades.
“We do expect it to be something that the township is proud of and something that we’re proud of,” said Reilly.
