This Hunger Action Month, Chester County stood together at Chester County Food Bank’s (CCFB) second Annual Rally Against Hunger to speak out against food insecurity in Chester County.
Proudly standing on the steps of West Chester’s historic courthouse, the rally was a great success, seeing supporters from all over the County coming together to support Chester County residents struggling with food insecurity.
Joined by its partners from the West Chester Food Cupboard, students from West Chester University, Chester County CEO David Byerman, and Chester County Commissioners Josh Maxwell and Marian Moskowitz, CCFB had an inspiring showing of leadership, compassion, and determination to ensure access to nutritious and familiar food to all of Chester County.
The Food Bank extends its thanks to everyone who stood with the Chester County Food Bank in its efforts to mobilize the community into taking action to support neighbors and fight hunger. This Hunger Action Month, and throughout the year, CCFB will continue to uphold its mission of ensuring access to nutritious and familiar food to Chester County residents struggling with food insecurity.
Please join CCFB for the rest of Hunger Action Month in its goal of collecting 12,000 pounds of food to help support Chester County neighbors in need. CCFB believes that by working together, the community can create a Chester County without hunger.
