Portfolio Manager III

This position facilitates the credit needs of customers by underwriting new requests and renewals/modifications from preliminary discussions through approval and the life of the loan. He/she will be a proactive partner with the relationship manager and be intimately involved throughout the deal process and beyond.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, as well as three to five years of experience in underwriting and portfolio management (with a focus on investment real estate transactions). The person must be well versed in defining/testing covenants and analyzing tax returns, rent rolls, leases, and appraisals (commercial and residential). He/she will exhibit a deep knowledge of loan structuring and credit policies and procedures, with previous experience assisting with, or preparing, term sheets for discussion.

Business Development Officer — SBA

This position is responsible for external self-sourcing SBA-government guaranteed loans within the bank’s geographic territory. He/she will identify and solicit new business relationships and interview new and existing loan applicants to gather information relative to their business needs, abilities, and earnings to determine whether loans may be an acceptable risk. The person will assemble loan packages and assist in the gathering and closing process; cross-sell business products to existing customers and prospect business customers through an organized calling program; and generate qualified referrals to other bank departments.

The ideal candidate will possess at least seven years of experience in screening, processing, and booking SBA 504 and SBA 7A loans. Additional lending experience in the area of SBA related loans is desirable. Financial sales and lending abilities are required, as well as in-depth credit and lending knowledge and a thorough understanding of all traditional and non-traditional bank products.

Small Business Lender

This position develops new bank business relationships primarily through lending to small businesses and small real estate investors (defined as loan maximums of $1 million for C&I loans and $1.5 million for real estate loans.) He/she will grow commercial deposits and cross-sell banking products and services. The person will partner with Branch Managers, Credit Risk, Portfolio Managers, and Loan Processors to execute customized financial solutions and manage the overall sales process.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree; five to seven years of banking and/or sales experience; and three to five years of commercial lending business development sales. He/she will have knowledge of software/systems utilized between departments, specifically Salesforce and VIKAR, and excellent communication, credit, sales, and public relations skills.
