Fun Dungeon Brewcade and Billiards Brings Medieval-Inspired Gaming to Phoenixville

Fun Dungeon Brewcade and Billiards offers both retro and modern games alongside craft beers in downtown Phoenxiville.

Fun Dungeon Brewcade and Billiards brings a unique gaming experience to the Phoenixville community, writes Amanda Brady for ABC7.

The new space combines arcade games with craft brewing, all with a unique aesthetic. The arcade’s basement location inspired the owners to commit to a “dungeon” theme with a medieval atmosphere throughout.

Visitors can play a variety of 1980s arcade games like Pac-Man, Frogger, Donkey Kong, and Pong. The arcade also includes modern and multiplayer games, as well as pinball machines and a pool table.

In addition to stand-up arcade games, Fun Dungeon also features more comfortable lounge-style seating. Here, visits can play games on both vintage NES consoles and the modern Nintendo Switch and Playstation.

Owners Clint Weiler and Terry Hughes started the arcade and brewery after ten years of sharing a retro gaming hobby. The duo wanted to create a comfortable, atmospheric space where guests can stay for hours.

With user-friendliness in mind, the space has a flat entrance fee of $15 for all-you-can-play gaming. Visitors can even leave and come back later to continue gaming at no extra cost.

But Fun Dungeon doesn’t only offer gaming. The space doubles as a craft brewery, with eight beers on draft from a contract brewer alongside specialty medieval-inspired cocktails.
