New Welcome Center Helps Tourists Plan the Perfect Stay in Chester County

With independent inns and the reopening of the Chester County Welcome Center, the county offers tourist stops for visitors and resident alike.

It has never been easier to plan the perfect visit to Chester County thanks to the brand-new Chester County Welcome Center, writes Natalie Jason for 6abc.

The newly opened space is now located in the Historic Chester County Courthouse in downtown West Chester.

The new location features a panoramic video room and all of the necessary services to plan a stay in any location across the county. The space includes an electronic station where visitors can develop an itinerary and have it downloaded right to their phone.

The center offers various package deals for businesses and hotels throughout the county. With the Longwood Gardens Package, patrons will receive a welcome goodie bag and a complementary ice cream treat.

For outdoor excursions, Chester County boasts ten farmers markets perfect for fresh, local groceries.

The Chester County Welcome Center also offers in-depth guides to local hotels for an overnight stay.

Artelo in Kennett Square offers artistic interiors and one-of-a-kind designs in each of its fourteen rooms. Local artists complete the unique artwork see throughout the hotel, and proceeds from each stay go towards community organizations like the Kennett Trails Alliance.

In West Chester, The Bookhouse at Faunbrook features mini libraries for guests in a historic nineteenth century property. Nearby, Hotel Indigo offers modern interiors and a speakeasy-inspired bar in the basement.
