A converted 1867 schoolhouse with a large addition recently hit the market in Glenmoore, writes Paul Jablow for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The current owners, Collin and Dani Phelan, purchased the house and an adjacent 2.14-acre lot in 2023. The lot is also available for sale separately from the house.

The three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom home offers 4,274 square feet of living space, made possible by the addition that was added in the 1990s by the previous owners.

The first floor includes a living room, an office, and a kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, cherry wood countertops, and custom cabinetry.

A charming sunroom features large European turn-and-tilt windows that fill the space with natural light.

The bedrooms and a loft, currently used as a playroom, can be found on the second story. The primary suite sits above a canopy of trees which provides lovely views of both the sunrise and moonrise.

The landscaping in the front and back was redone last fall and now boasts a new berm and perennial plantings as well as walking trails, a firepit, and inground lighting.

The home is listed for $950,000 by Marie Gordon of Compass Real Estate at 1420 Little Conestoga Road.
