Several HSN hosts have put their homes on the market ahead of the company’s move to its parent company QVC Group’s headquarters in West Chester, writes Ashley Gurbal Kritzer for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
QVC Group acquired longtime competitor HSN eight years ago and now plans on shutting down its St. Petersburg campus, and transferring Florida operations to QVC’s Studio Park campus in Chester County.
The company has put the entire 65-acre HSN property for sale. QVC plans to lay off around 900 employees as part of the consolidation, starting in May.
While it is still not yet known which hosts will remain with HSN, some are already looking at the Philadelphia housing market in preparation for the move.
Among the personalities who have already listed their homes in the Tampa Bay region are Adam Freeman, with the company since 2007; Emily Lampa, who grew up in the Philadelphia area; Debbie Denmon, an HSN host for eight years; Ty Mayberry, who joined after the QVC Group acquisition; Michelle Yarn, with HSN since 2017; and Suzanne Runyan, a 17-year HSN veteran.
