Uptown has just revealed its 2025-2026 Theatre Season, and it’s packed with dazzling musicals, family favorites, and powerful stories that promise something for everyone.
This season kicks off with Uptown Studio’s Frozen Jr. (May 2-4), a heartwarming tale of sisterhood, adventure, and icy magic. Then comes Mean Girls High School Edition (May 16-18), where high school drama takes center stage in a hilarious, fierce musical based on the cult-classic film.
In June, Mike Thornton Productions presents The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey (Jun. 14-15), a one-actor tour de force that explores the lasting impact of a bold and unforgettable teen. Summer continues with Seussical Jr. (Jul. 10-11) and Shrek the Musical (Jul. 31-Aug. 2), two vibrant youth productions bringing beloved stories to life with music, laughs, and heart.
The fall brings Broadway magic with A Chorus Line (Sept. 19–28), a riveting look into the lives of chorus dancers, followed by Cinderella (Dec. 6-28), the classic Rodgers & Hammerstein fairytale reimagined with hope and enchantment.
Kicking off 2026, the semi-pro cast of Uptown Studio brings Pinkalicious The Musical (Jan. 8-18), a colorful and quirky story about embracing what makes us unique. The season wraps with the emotionally resonant The Last Five Years (Apr. 17-19), a beautifully told love story that unfolds in reverse and real time.
