James J. “Jim” Merkins and Ashley N. Blackburn have joined the Lamb McErlane PC Litigation practice group.
Merkins is a Partner and experienced Litigator, representing clients on a wide variety of commercial litigation, construction law, and general business matters, as well as estate, family law, criminal, and personal injury cases. He was previously a name partner at a Delaware Valley firm. Merkins also serves as a Magisterial District Judge in Springfield and Upper Darby Townships, hearing civil and criminal matters since 2014. Merkins is admitted to practice in the Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the District Court of Delaware and New Jersey.
Blackburn is an Associate Attorney at Lamb McErlane. She concentrates her practice on commercial litigation with a focus on construction law. Prior to joining Lamb McErlane, Blackburn practiced at the same firm as Merkins. Blackburn received her undergraduate degree at Flagler College and JD at Widener University Delaware Law School. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
