Immaculata University’s Fashion Merchandising program is hosting the annual IU Fashion Show on Saturday, Apr. 5, from 6-8:00 PM in Immaculata’s Great Hall.
This event highlights the creativity and talent of IU fashion merchandising students and showcases the professional work of local designers. It is also a collaboration with IU’s Career Clothing Closet, which offers students professional attire for job interviews and internships, career fairs and even classroom presentations.
“The IU Fashion Show highlights our students’ talent and that of local designers, all while supporting the Career Clothing Closet, which ensures students are dressed for success as they embark on their career journeys,” stated Lina Castro, Director of Immaculata’s Fashion Merchandising Program.
Attendees can anticipate a captivating evening filled with a diverse array of fashion, including designs from Allen Paca Knitwear, KAM Consultants, Inc., Stefania Everenn, and MLF Boutique, as well as clothing donated from Plato’s Closet in Exton. The fashion show will also showcase original designs crafted by Immaculata’s fashion merchandising students.
The IU Fashion Show is sponsored by Cabi, Darci Henry Beauty, and Immaculata graduates Jasmine Daniels ’18, Skylar Volz ’22, and Mary Duffy ’18.
While attending the fashion show, guests will have the opportunity to explore vendor tables and engage with Immaculata’s fashion merchandising projects while interacting with current fashion students. The evening also includes light refreshments and live music by Greg Masters.
Tickets are available for purchase online at $25 for adults. Students can attend for free, but they must register online.
