Villanova Home That Sold in Less Than a Week Among Intriguing 2024 Homes

A Villanova home that sold in less than a week for $3.1 million was one of a list of intriguing properties in 2024.

A Villanova home owned by David Kelleher and Marlo Pagano-Kelleher, the president of David Auto Group in Glen Mills and the founding member of Pagano Law Firm in Radnor, was one of the most intriguing 2024 homes in the region.

It sold in less than a week, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The nearly century-old castle-like Main Line estate covered almost 9,000 square feet and had a basketball court, koi pond and a golf green.

“It’s a house that wraps itself around you and hugs you,” Kelleher said.

The Tower Road home sold after listing for $3.1 million. It received a cash offer above the asking price with contingencies waive, said listing agent Karen Strid of the Karen Strid Team and Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Fox & Roach.

The Kellehers bought the estate in 2015 for $1.65 million, according to Delaware County property records. The purchase was made “with the intention of never leaving it,” Kelleher said.

But another opportunity for a Villanova property came up and they purchased a 7-acre estate from homebuilder David Cutler for $3.4 million.
