Fourteen Chester County towns are among those with the fastest-growing home prices in Pennsylvania, according to a new report by Stacker.
Cities were ranked based on the dollar change in the Zillow Home Values Index for all homes for the twelve months ending November 2024.
Berwyn ranked the highest in second place. The town has a typical home value of $860,850, with a one-year price increase of 39,530 (4.8 percent) and a five-year price change of $275,435 (47 percent).
Devon is next in seventh place. Its typical home value is $890,020, which is a $31,313 increase year-over-year (3.6 percent) and a $283,521 price change over five years (46.7 percent).
Avondale follows at No. 11. The town’s typical home value of $583,022 is $29,570 higher than a year ago (5.3 percent) and $201,051 higher than five years ago (52.6 percent).
Exton also placed in the top 20 at No. 15 with a typical home value of $572,740, a one-year increase of $26,751 (4.9 percent), and a five-year increase of $171,744 (42.8 percent).
