2Fish Community Cafe in West Chester is a nonprofit organization that functions as both a cafe space and health hub.

2Fish Community Café offers the West Chester community delicious meals alongside faith-based community support, writes Ed Williams for Main Line Today.

The cafe was started by Lisa and Traci Morris, who originally founded Two Fish as a nonprofit organization in 2014, the name a reference to the couple’s shared faith.

2Fish originally existed as a holistic wellness hub in the Melton Center in West Chester offering culinary training, community engagement, and health-related events. In 2020, 2FIsh pivoted to providing over 30,000 free meals to the local community in the COVID-19 pandemic.

After the successful pandemic meal drive, the Morrises moved forward with creating an in-person café space. After raising over $2 million in grant funding from both governmental and private donors, 2Fish Community Café officially opened in summer 2024.

While the café offers nutritious comfort meals to the public, 2Fish’s main goal has always been to support their workers and the immediate community. 2Fish employees receive mental health, financial literacy, and spiritual formation counseling, in addition to diet and exercise training.

It is open to the public Wednesday through Sunday.
