Top Drawer Soccer Names Conestoga Grad Dominick Bachstein ‘Player of the Week’
Drexel University Men’s Soccer forward Dominick Bachstein has been named national Player of the Week by Top Drawer Soccer, writes Paulie Loscalzo for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Leading up to the honors from Top Drawer on Oct. 8, Bachstein scored nine goals and five assists for the Dragons across ten games.
An alumnus of Conestoga High School, Bachstein began his collegiate soccer career at LaSalle University before transferring. Currently a fifth-year senior, Bachstein talked about his newfound love for the city and the connections he’s made over his three years on the team.
“Since arriving at Drexel, it’s all blessings,” Bachstein said.
Bachstein’s success comes at a challenging time for Drexel Men’s Soccer. Bachstein’s presence and leadership has provided much-needed stability as he continues to lead the team to success in a time of transition.
His ambitions do not end with this national recognition from Top Drawer.
While excited about this individual honor, the soccer star hopes to lead the team through the Coastal Athletic Association playoffs and into an NCAA Tournament, achievements that Bachstein feels confident are well within reach.
