Two West Chester Restaurants Defining the Game in Chester County
Andiario and Pizza West Chester have been recently named as two defining restaurants in the region through the Inquirer’s list of top 76 restaurants, write Margaret Eby and Matt Buchanan for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
With its white tablecloths and lovely wine list, Andiario at 106 West Gay Street is a perfect fine dining establishment in downtown.
Chef Anthony Andiario is committed to culinary experimentation. Forget micro greens and upscale dinner plate decorations, this is where real food meets the tastebuds.
The restaurant takes pride in its handmade pasta, fresh bread, and its rotating menu.
Located at 136 East Market Street, Pizza West Chester brings customers back to the simplicity of the dish. With no seating, phone number, or website for the business, customers are transported back in time, focusing solely on the owner’s clear vision of next-level quality pizza.
Owner and pizza connoisseur Speer Madanat wants each pie to be uniform and perfect. Each pizza is well done, featuring a crispy crust, Jersey-style tomato sauce, two varieties of mozzarella cheese, and is topped off with a sprinkling of Grana Padano.
