Kennett Symphony Will Perform ‘Masterworks 1: Classical Brilliance’ at Uptown! on Oct. 13
Kennett Symphony, Chester County’s only professional orchestra, will perform an unforgettable afternoon of classical music at Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 3:00 PM.
The event is titled “Masterworks 1: Classical Brilliance,” and the performance will feature:
- Jessie Montgomery’s “Strum“: a vibrant piece that moves from nostalgia to celebration.
- Samuel Barber’s “Violin Concerto“: performed by Soloist Lun Li (Li Lun), showcasing one of the finest American concertos.
- Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 8“: a symphony filled with humor, sparkle, and light-hearted joy.
Your ticket includes a pre-concert talk with Music Director Michael Hall, Conductor, the full performance, plus a post-concert Q&A with the conductor, soloist, and select musicians.
General Admission is $55, and Student Tickets (up to age 18) are $15.
