ROW Psychiatric Services achieved a three-year Accreditation by The Joint Commission on Behavioral Care Organizations for July 24, 2024 through July 2027. This accreditation means that ROW has demonstrated compliance with applicable Joint Commission standards in all performance areas.
The Joint Commission is widely known for its leadership role in evaluating and accrediting thousands of healthcare organizations in the United States.
The reputable and rigorous external evaluation provided by the Joint Commission validates the hard, everyday work of our mental health providers and staff, and confirms that the future of mental health care is in good hands at ROW Psychiatric Services.
“Being accredited is in line with the ROW Psychiatric Services mission to provide mental health solutions that are comprehensive, accessible, equitable, and evidence-based that make a meaningful impact in the communities we serve,” said Rosemary Fordjour, founder and CEO of ROW Psychiatric Services.
Hospitals, healthcare networks, managed care organizations, organizations providing ambulatory, home, long-term and behavioral care and those providing laboratory services are some examples of the types of organizations that seek Joint Commission accreditation. Joint Commission standards represent a national consensus on quality patient care amidst changing healthcare practices and new delivery methods.
Participation in the accreditation process is entirely voluntary, and those organizations who do participate choose to be measured against national standards for excellence in providing quality patient care within organized healthcare delivery settings.
