Wave Goodbye to Summer at This Sunflower Patch in Downingtown
Gunther Sunflower Field in Downingtown is the perfect hidden attraction to view some wonderful sunflowers during the late summer and early fall months. Take a trip soon to see these yellow blooms and wave goodbye to summer before they’re gone too, writes Franki Rudnesky for Philly Voice.
Located at 158 Park Road, the field was fully planted in July and now sunflowers have begun to slowly pop up everywhere. There are typically only a few weeks to view them when they’re bright and tall before they go away for the seasons.
The field has become a popular seasonal destination for locals and visitors, offering a peaceful outdoor experience in the Downingtown area. It’s the prime spot to walk around and enjoy nature and take photos.
Although it does not allow picking, Gunther Sunflower Field is free to visit. Plus, any donations made will go to the Believe & Achieve Foundation.
