If you are looking to dine at Longwood Gardens’ newly renovated 1906 restaurant for a Christmastime meal, it’s a good idea to book your table now, writes Patricia Talorico for Delaware Online.
It’s not too early to think about Christmas. At least when it comes to dining at Longwood. Reservations for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at Longwood’s 1906 restaurant are still available, but due to high demand and the holiday season, these reservations are sure to go quickly.
Tables in the bar and lounge can seat up to five people. For groups larger than five, call (610) 388-5290 to be accommodated. Note that $10 per person is required during the regular season.
For holiday reservations, a $25 deposit per person is needed. There will be a traditional and luxurious prix fixe menu coming soon. The menu price is $125 per adult for three courses. For children 12 and under, it is $30 per child for two courses.
Longwood’s 1906 restaurant is not even open until Oct. 25, and it is already fully booked for Thanksgiving on Nov. 28. If your heart is set on a Longwood Gardens Christmas experience, get it booked now.
The refurbished restaurant will feature new dining options, seasonal menus, and private dining space. The floor-to-ceiling windows will overlook the stunning Main Fountain Garden.
The dining room will be open from 11 AM – 3 PM and 4 PM – 8:30 PM daily during the busy season of Nov. 22 to Jan. 12, 2025.
