Newtown Native Alex Cooper Inks Multimillion-Dollar Deal with SiriusXM
Newtown native Alex Cooper, the dynamic host of the popular “Call Her Daddy” podcast, has signed a groundbreaking multiyear deal with SiriusXM, reportedly valued between $100 million and $125 million, writes Todd Spangler for Variety.
This exclusive partnership, set to begin in 2025, will see SiriusXM replacing Spotify as the primary distributor and advertiser for Cooper’s content.
Under the new deal, SiriusXM will gain exclusive rights to distribute and monetize “Call Her Daddy” and other shows from Cooper’s Unwell Audio Network. The move marks a significant shift in the podcasting landscape, as “Call Her Daddy” continues to grow its massive following.
Cooper, known for her candid discussions on topics like dating, mental health, and self-care, expressed her excitement about the new collaboration, stating, “The Daddy Gang wants more, so we’re getting ready to give them more.”
This partnership is another major win for SiriusXM, which has been expanding its podcast portfolio. The deal follows similar high-profile acquisitions, including the SmartLess podcast and Conan O’Brien’s Team Coco.
As Cooper gears up for this new chapter with SiriusXM, her fans can expect even more unfiltered content and exclusive experiences tailored to the loyal “Daddy Gang” community.
