Mark Ruffalo Shoots Critical ‘Task’ Scene at Delaware County Courthouse
Mark Ruffalo, along with the rest of the cast and crew of the new HBO miniseries, “Task,” took over Courtroom 15 this week at the Delaware County Courthouse in Media, writes Raymond Ragand for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
The miniseries from “Mare of Easttown” creator Brad Ingelsby has been filming since early March in various locations around Delaware County, Coatesville, Montgomery County, Chichester and South Philadelphia.
On Tuesday, a “pivotal” scene with star Mark Ruffalo was shot inside the courthouse and outside during sunset on the courthouse and Delaware County Government Center campus, according to a Facebook post from Delaware County Council.
Several county employees had a chance to meet Ruffalo and took selfies with him and other cast members.
A Media Borough spokesman said Ruffalo enlivened the courtroom workspace with his positive nature and generosity and gave fans a memory they will cherish.
The team from HBO planned extensively for the shoot, the spokesperson said.
The production’s redesign of the courtroom took several days, the spokesperson said.
In addition to work on ‘Task,’ Ingelsby and other “Mare” creators are in talks with HBO about a second season to that series, which starred Kate Winslet as detective Mare Sheehan.
