Havertown Grille Is a Neighborhood and Jason Kelce Favorite
The Havertown Grille at 2409 West Darby Road in Havertown has been a neighborhood presence since 2012 but has received some extra attention lately as an occasional hangout for retired Philadelphia Eagle Jason Kelce.
“You’ve heard about it. You’ve probably drove past it and saw it,” commented Bob Kelly for his Kelly Drives feature on Fox 29.
You can often find owner Nick Haselidis working behind the grill.
“I’ve been doing it for a long time,” he said.
The Havetown Grille website describes the restaurant as a “casual eatery where comfort meets culinary creativity.
It’s focus is on breakfast, lunch and brunch.
Its diverse menu features a wide range of omelets, Benedicts, pancakes and French Toast, Avocado Toast, and breakfast sandwiches. There are lunch sandwiches, burgers, steaks, pitas, wraps, cutlets, quesadillas, Greek specialties, fried chicken, paninis and salads.
Some of its featured dishes include a Mexican omelet, the bacon goat cheese omelet, and the California Benedict.
There’s also a brunch buffet available.
So what does Jason Kelce like when he stops by?
“He started off with our Mexican omelet, a parfait, no granola, sausage, egg and cheese on an English muffin,” Haselidis said.
