Twelve78 Brewing Company has a highly anticipated opening.

A new brewery is arriving in Phoenixville this month, writes John Vaccarelli for Breweries in PA.

The new brewery, named Twelve78 Brewing Company, is set to open on May 17 at 35 Bridge Street.

Twelve78 Brewing Company, owned by Phoenixville locals Steve and Kara Rogacki, started three years ago at local festivals. The couple has been together for 24 years and have two sons, Jake and Aidan, who have been involved in opening the brewery and taproom.

Twelve78 will be brewing on a 3-vessel 3.5 BBL brewhouse with both 3.5 and 7BBL fermenters. They have a strong opening lineup of brews, including their popular Sour smoothie ale, which blends their sour ale with fruit purees, ice cream, marshmallows, and more.

Their brew style is a blend of classic with modern techniques, such as Thoilized Lagers, Pale Ales, and IPAs.

The brewery will be equipped with 16 taps and be housed in their renovated 5,000 square foot space, featuring three large roll-up doors. Although they won’t have a kitchen, there is a food truck with permanent residency right outside on the property.

Some events they’re planning on hosting are Tuesday night bingo and Thursday night trivia.
