Napa Valley-Inspired Restaurant Coming to Ellis Preserve
Napa Kitchen and Wine and a Sedona Taphouse, both products of DJB Hospitality, are coming to the Ellis Preserve in Newtown Square, writes Emma Dooling for Philadelphia Business Journal.
“We’re very selective on where we want to put our restaurants,” said DJB Hospitality CEO Dennis Barbaro. “It just seemed like Ellis Preserve hit all the buttons.”
Sedona Taphouse is expected to open in late August or early September. A Napa Kitchen and Wine opening is expected in the first quarter of 2025.
Napa Kitchen and Wine will have seating for 400 guests in a 202-seat dining room, a 26-seat indoor bar, 14-seat wine lounge, a 100-seat private dining room and a 100-seat outdoor patio.
The cuisine will be American, inspired by the California wine region.
Wine selections will come from the Napa and Sonoma valleys and from regions around the world.
An existing Napa Kitchen and Wine in Richmond, Virginia, has wine tastings, wine pairing dinners and a wine academy.
The Sedona Taphouse will have seating for 334 people.
It will have an onsite brewery initially offering four different beers. The restaurant will also have 25 regional and global beers on draft.
