Beer gardens are cherished, seasonal rendezvous points for friends and communities to gather, relax, and enjoy fresh brews, writes Leigh Green for PA Eats

Two of Pennsylvania’s best beer gardens are in Chester County.

Brothers on Brandywine Beer Garden in Coatesville is open on Sundays starting in April through October. Located at the Brandywine Outfitters park, this beer garden offers more than just drinking, it also offers a fun time for all who visit.

There’s live music, food trucks, axe throwing, and you can even take a dip in the Brandywine. Drinks include Brothers Kershner Brewing Company drafts, among other rotating items.

The Creamery in Kennett Square is an all-around destination for art, drinks, and music.

With a draft list of canned beers, kombucha, and cocktails, there are many different options to pair with The Creamery’s locally sourced food menus. Plus, events like “Adult Prom” and block parties keep everyone on their toes for new things to do.
