People’s Light will host a Gala benefit on Apr. 19 in honor of community leader and advocate Ken Mumma.

Mumma is a Trustee and past Board Chair of People’s Light. He founded Customers Bank (formerly New Century Bank) and was Chair until 2009. He is a past president of the Colonial Theatre

Mumma is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and received his J.D. from Villanova School of Law. He has also received a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Villanova University.

The event, “A Behind-the-Curtain Celebration,” will occur at the Farmhouse at People’s Light in Malvern and include cocktails, dinner, a silent auction, a performance, and tributes to Mumma. This evening will benefit the artistic and education programs of People’s Light and provide a sneak peek into the theatre-making process.

Purchase tickets and learn more about the event, the silent auction remote bidding, and an associated luxury trip raffle. Each ticket provides two chances to win, and less than 240 tickets are still available. This tribute evening will support educational programs and artistic excellence at People’s Light.
