Pothole Problems Being Fixed by PennDOT in Chester County
Everyone deals with potholes around the region, but PennDOT is working to fix and fill them one by one. Check out the Chester County potholes that are being fixed, writes Leland Pinder for 6ABC.
Tired of your whole car dipping uncomfortably when you hit a bump in the road? So is everyone else! PennDOT said they are working as quickly as they can to fill the holes left by age, weather, or otherwise in Chester County roads.
More than 50 state roads were on a list released by PennDOT, including 11 in the county.
“These are the locations that are on our high-priority list,” said Robyn Briggs, PennDOT spokesperson.
- U.S. 30 (Coatesville–Downingtown Bypass) in Sadsbury, Valley, Caln, East Caln townships
- U.S. 202 in Tredyffrin, West Thornbury, Thornbury, East Whiteland, West Whiteland, and Birmingham townships
- U.S. 322 (Downingtown Pike) in East Brandywine, West Brandywine, Caln townships
- Route 10 (Octorara Trail/Compass Road) in West Sadsbury, Caln townships
- Route 23 (Ridge Road) in Elverson Borough and South Coventry Township
- Route 41 (Gap Newport Pike/Pennsylvania Avenue) in Londonderry Township and Avondale Borough
- Route 926 (Street Road) in Pennsbury Township
- Boot Road in East Goshen, West Goshen, West Whiteland townships
- Paoli Pike in Willistown, West Goshen, and Tredyffrin townships
- Buckwalter Road in East Vincent Township
- Sheeder Road in East Vincent Township
