Renowned Founder of CVP Communications and Integrated Marketing Services to Receive Lifetime Service Award from Chester County Council, Boy Scouts of America

The Chester County Council, Boy Scouts of America has selected Dolores Hagerstrom, founder of CVP Communications and Integrated Marketing Services, as the inaugural recipient of the Lifetime Service Award.

This prestigious honor, initiated by the Chester County Council BSA, acknowledges individuals or organizations exemplifying an unwavering commitment to and service for the scouting community.

For more than 25 years, Hagerstrom’s enduring dedication has made a lasting impact on the scouting landscape in Chester County. Notable among her exemplary leadership qualities is her historic role as the first Female Council President in 1997 and 1998, alongside her pivotal service as the Fund Development Chairman she spearheaded the Capital campaign to build Chester County Council headquarters on Rte. 30 in Exton.

Her extensive service portfolio includes presiding over the East Whiteland Civic Association, holding roles as President, United Way Board Vice President, West Chester Area Senior Center Vice President, Freedom Valley Girl Scout Council Vice President, and Chairman of the Chester County Department of Aging Services.

Recognized for her outstanding contributions, Hagerstrom has received accolades such as the District Award of Merit and the Silver Beaver Award from the BSA for exceptional service to youth and the community. Additional honors include the Winthrop Rockefeller Fundraising Award and the PA Governor’s Award for outstanding volunteer service.

The Night of Stars Gala, celebrating Dolores D. Hagerstrom’s Lifetime of Service, is scheduled for Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the Chester County History Center in West Chester.
