Believe it or not, summer will be here before we know it. Here at YMCA of Greater Brandywine, we plan to make this the best summer yet. Don’t miss out on our award-winning summer camps voted Best of Chester County 2023 by Daily Local News.

Below, we’ve compiled everything you need to know about the new additions to our summer camp programs and how to get involved.

Specialty Camp Expansion

To kick off the list of exciting additions to this year’s summer camps, you can now find specialty camps that your camper will love at a location near you in 2024. Choose from Art, Theater, STEM, and more! 

Adaptive Campy Expansion

Camp Bumblebee is our Adaptive Day Camp designed for children with developmental delays and disabilities. We’re expanding to three locations in 2024: Camp Brandywine, Camp Jennersville, and Camp UMLY. 

New Teen Camp

To better meet the interests and needs of older campers, we’ve added three new Teen Summer Camps: Leaders in Training, Counselors in Training, and Teen Trek. 

New Specialty Sports Camps

We’ve added a sports sampler camp at seven locations across Chester County. Varsity Sports Camp is designed for ages 9-12 and JV Sports Camp is for ages 6-8. Plus, we offer racquet sports, pickleball, flag football, cheer camp, and more! 

We’re Keeping What You Love Best

Even with the exciting new additions to the summer camp programs, we’re still keeping the amenities you love best, including the following:

• Flexibility: Pick and choose the weeks you want.
• Value: Extended care is included through 6:00 PM.
• Safety: We ensure that there are highly trained counselors and lifeguards.
• Fan-Favorite Activities: We will continue to offer daily swimming.
• In-House Experiences: Children and teens can look forward to DJs, laser shows, and more!
