Kathy Levine has made her return to QVC after more than 20 years of being gone.

Kathy Levine refers to her return to West Chester-based QVC after more than two decades as “serendipity,” writes Eileen Smith Dallabrida for Main Line Today.

“Diamonique was celebrating a 35th birthday, and it was suggested I make a guest appearance,” said Levine. “That turned into a monthly show on QVC’s sister channel, QVC2. Many of my audience members were young kids when I started in 1986. Now, like me, they’re grandmothers. Can you say loyal? I love them.”

During her original run at the television shopping network, Levine worked with Joan Rivers, who came to QVC soon after the death of her husband.

“She was fragile and in need of a win,” recalled Levine. “She allowed me to be the play-by-play director with the details, and she was the funny color commentator. She was a quick study, and we grew into each other’s rhythm.”

For Levine, working with Rivers was a magical ten years. The pair managed to sell hundreds of millions of dollars worth of products over the years.

“We laughed ourselves silly,” said Levine.
