Joan and Jerry Joan Corrado have been making crazy Christmas displays for over a decade.

In addition to putting up one of the best, dynamic Christmas lights displays in the area, the Corrado family in West Chester gives back to the community through a toy drive, reports Tim Furlong for NBC10 Philadelphia.

Jerry Corrado has been setting up the popular display for over two decades. The task became harder after he was diagnosed with a super-rare form of leukemia in 2017 but he never gave up on it. Since then, he beat the deadly disease and continued to set up his displays, which keep getting bigger each year.

If he was not able to continue doing his Christmas lights, “it would have been more difficult for him,” said his wife, Joan.

Since 2008, the couple have added a toy drive to their display. Visitors can drop off unwrapped toys that are later donated to the Chester County Hospital Pediatric Unit and Emergency Room, the county Domestic Violence Center, and Family Service of Chester County.

The drive also keeps expanding each year, going from 250 toys the first year to over 4,000 in 2023.
