The Habermann couple is continuing to spread joy and good tidings for the most festive season with the biggest yet iteration of their Coatesville Christmas display, writes Bill Rettew for The Daily Local News.

The festive display covers up most of the family’s 1.25-acre property at 106 Meadowview Drive. The wife and husband duo Deb and Gary started the tradition 27 years ago with a single inflatable and 200 lights. Today, the display has become one of the region’s famous winter attractions.

This year, it features 30 new additions.

“I’m under supervision,” joked Gary. “I’m not allowed to go to Home Depot and Lowe’s on my own. Things just jump into my cart.”

The display brightens the night with two miles of light strings that connect 55,000 lights. There are also over 200 decorations around the yard and four photo spots, including Santa’s Mail Box. The Habermanns send a reply to every letter they receive from Mr. Claus, along with a Certificate of Good Behavior.

There are even Santa visits scheduled for Dec. 8 and 15.
