Thanks to social media, Phoenixville couple Joey Chowanec and Kristin Beshada were able to connect with the photographer who took several pictures of their engagement at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, writes Nikki DeMentri for CBS News Philadelphia. 

Last month, Chowanec proposed to his girlfriend at Longwood Gardens, and the moment was captured by his mother using an iPhone camera. 

However, the couple later found out that Laura Reiger, a photographer, also snapped some photos of the moment. 

“As I turned around, he was on one knee proposing to her,” said Reiger. “Like, oh, so cute. I couldn’t resist, so I hopped behind the mom and just snapped a photo.” 

Since she was not able to connect to the couple at the spot, she turned to social media to see if anybody knew them. She found an answer within half an hour. 

Meanwhile, the couple got news about the pictures from friends who saw the post. 

“I was super excited,” said Beshada. “I was just like, this is the best. What are the chances that someone you know, snapped such beautiful pictures of us?”
