Dalvey & Co in Wayne, the brainchild of a self-proclaimed “gift guru” Caroline Espe, offers fun, unique, and whimsical gifts, writes Alicia Vitarelli for 6ABC. 

When Espe found herself out of a job in 2020 like so many others, she started creating and sending gift boxes to friends and family who had their big events canceled due to the pandemic. 

They soon started coming to her to help them do the same, so she decided to turn it into a business. 

Dalvey & Co ran online for three years. This summer, she finally opened a brick-and-mortar location on N. Wayne Avenue. Now, she is busy helping her customers out for the holidays. 

“We have a little something for everybody,” said Espe. “Every interest, hobby, any occasion. Since we did start as a gift box company, we still have curated boxes that you can purchase ‘as is’ and you get a little bit of a bundle discount.” 

You can also assemble your own gift box or have it shipped to you. 

“We can help you put something together, we live for it,” said Espe.
