Fifth Location of White Dog Cafe to Open in Chester Springs
Fearless Restaurants is gearing up to open a fifth location of its White Dog Cafe early next year in Chester Springs, at the former Vickers Restaurant that once served as an Underground Railroad spot, writes Holly Herman for Patch.
White Dog Cafe is best known for local, seasonal, and sustainable menus. Its new space is currently being renovated to, among other things, better fit with its well-known dog-inspired theme.
The company is currently refurbishing the roof and entryway as well as reconfiguring the kitchen, while making sure to maintain the site’s historical integrity.
According to Marty Grims, managing partner of Fearless Restaurants, White Dog Cafe in Chester Springs will be able to accommodate around 300 guests.
“The new layout taps into a hallmark of the White Dog Cafe brand: creating a space that feels like you are in a home with each room having its own personality,” said Grims.
He added that the restaurant, which will offer its award-winning American cuisine, will have around 100 employees. It will also have outdoor dining by dividing the main banquette room into three separate areas.
