Open Hearth marked the opening of its new headquarters in Phoenixville with a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony that included tours of the building, comments from the participating officials, and entertainment, according to a staff report from The Daily Local News

The nonprofit’s new location at 701 S. Main Street serves as a home for its programs and community-building initiatives.

“We are excited to welcome the community into our new home and showcase all the impactful work that Open Hearth does in the area,” said Kelly Raggazino, chief executive officer of Open Hearth. “This new building will not only provide a more accessible and inspirational space for our clients and partners, but it will also allow us to continue growing and serving those in need.”

Open Hearth offers programs that support and empower individuals to end the cycle of homelessness by acquiring affordable housing, a means of transportation, and workforce opportunities, which in turn helps them achieve financial stability.

The nonprofit’s new space was donated by residents Janice and Paul Hartmann. A capital campaign helped raise money for the repairs and renovations to the building.
