The Board of Directors for the Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry (CCCBI) has appointed seven new members and new Chair.

Caitlin Ganley, Senior Director of Government and Regulatory Affairs for Comcast, will take the reigns as the new Board Chair for CCCBI. Ganley hails from Delaware County, and is a former District Chief of Staff to Congressman Patrick Meehan (PA-7) and campaign aide. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from West Chester University and a Master’s Degree of Business Administration from Villanova University. Ganley previously served as Secretary of CCCBI’s board, Chair of the Government Affairs Committee, and is a Board Member for the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce.

Ganley replaces David Hackett, Esq, who chaired the board for the last two years. CCCBI will also announce a new slate of Officers and Executive Committee.

“Leading the Chester County Chamber this past 2 years has been my distinct pleasure.  Thanks to help of many, we successfully navigated through the pandemic.  The Chester County Chamber is now flourishing as the chamber of influence in the county and throughout our region thanks to leadership of CEO Laura Manion and our wonderful staff,” said Hackett.

The Chamber is also adding seven new board members, in addition to the six added earlier this year. CCCBI’s Nominating Committee reviewed a variety of resumes and focused on talented individuals who come from different backgrounds, industries, and locations around the county. The seven candidates chosen will be great additions to the Chamber’s growing and diverse board.

The new board members are:

“I look forward to working with our seven new board members in my new role as Board Chair to address this region’s critical issues including workforce development, affordability, and infrastructure investments. CCCBI has been and continues to be a leader in advocacy in the region, and this group of business leaders demonstrates commitment to our community’s future. I’m excited to work together to serve the Chamber’s membership,” said Ganley, CCCBI Board Chair.

CCCBI is also saying goodbye to a handful of board members, whose terms have ended: Deb Abel of Abel Brothers Towing, Steve Aichele of Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr, Bonny Coddaire of Vanguard, Jeff Hunt of Haven Behavioral Health, Patrick Ward of WSFS, Dave Magrogan of Harvest Seasonal, and Jim Manser of Pantheon Strategies.

“We are fortunate to have such a dedicated board of directors that works tirelessly to guide the Chamber in fulfilling its mission to advocate for a strong business community. These board members will be missed, and we hope they stay heavily involved. I know I have big shoes to fill with my predecessor Dave Hackett and look forward to working with CCCBI staff toward ensuring Chester County remains a great place to live, work raise a family, and do business,” said Ganley.
