C&N has donated $35,000 under the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program to Libertae, an addiction treatment center in Bensalem.

Libertae is one of a very small number of treatment programs in Pennsylvania dedicated to treating and supporting women with substance use disorders. With an emphasis on gender-informed treatment, Libertae strives to create an environment that reflects an understanding of women’s lives and that responds to their challenges.

Libertae’s 58-bed facility provides long-term residential, halfway house, and outpatient services in a safe, empowering environment. Children are welcomed with their mothers into the Family House program, where activities are dedicated to healing the bonds between them. A full-service, certified daycare is located on the premises. Libertae also provides Pre-K services through the licensed childcare Family Center.

“The relationship between Libertae and C&N Bank goes far beyond a typical business relationship,” said Nancy Wolf, Libertae’s CEO. “The generosity and support shown by C&N to us is greatly appreciated and furthers our ability to fulfill our mission of empowering women and families. Many thanks to everyone at C&N!”

Blair Rush, President of C&N’s Southeast Region, and Bob Kile, Senior Commercial Lending Relationship Manager, were on hand to present the check.

“The EITC program is an important and productive way for C&N to support deserving nonprofit organizations,” said Rush. “We consider it an honor to partner with Libertae in their efforts to fulfill their important mission and helping them to ensure that children and their mothers remain together while in treatment.”
