Lamb McErlane partner Mary-Ellen H. Allen has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the Chester County History Center (CCHC).

The CCHC is located in West Chester and was founded by local citizens in 1893. The museum collection contains over 80,000 artifacts, with a strong emphasis on the collection of regional furniture, textiles, and decorative arts objects, as well as material representing all aspects of life in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

At Lamb McErlane, Allen is a partner, co-chair of the Employment Law Department, and a member of the Litigation Department. She concentrates her practice in employment law and commercial litigation. She was recently recognized as a 2024 ‘Best Lawyers’ in America, a 2023 ‘Super Lawyer’, Main Line Today ‘Top Lawyer’, a ‘Top Attorney’ by Suburban Life Magazine, and a ‘Best Lawyer’ in Chester County.

She is active in the community, serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Arc of Chester County (ARC), an organization that advocates, educates, and provides services that empower individuals with disabilities. In addition, Allen is a member and Past President of the Board of Directors of the Chester County Bar Foundation, the Chester County Bar Association, and the Chester County Art Association.

Lamb McErlane is a long-time supporter of the CCHC, and Allen looks forward to continuing that tradition.
