Aqua Pennsylvania Replaces 2,000 Feet of Aging Water Main in Chester County
Aqua Pennsylvania is replacing approximately 2,000 feet of aging water main in Easttown Township. The company is upgrading a 16-inch cast iron water main with a new 16-inch ductile iron water main, which is more durable and comprised of nearly 90 percent recycled metal materials.
This investment is part of Aqua’s continuing infrastructure improvement program to replace decades-old water and wastewater infrastructure around the country. The new water main will reduce the potential for main breaks and discolored water and will improve water flow for customers throughout Chester County.
The work is taking place on Darby Paoli Road between Buttonwood Lane and Beaumont Road.
Aqua’s main replacement work contributes to the company’s overarching commitment to providing quality, reliable drinking water, and safe wastewater solutions to customers.
