Downingtown East recorded a big victory over Downingtown West 35-7 in a Pennsylvania high school football matchup on Oct. 27.

The first quarter gave Downingtown East a 14-0 lead over Downingtown West.

The Cougars fought to a 28-0 halftime margin at the Whippets’ expense.

Downingtown West drew within 28-7 in the third quarter.

The Cougars held on with a 7-0 scoring edge in the fourth quarter.

In recent action on Oct. 14, Downingtown West faced off against Chester and Downingtown East took on Avon Grove on Oct. 13 at Downingtown East.
