Eleven Chester County Places Rank Among Cities with Fastest Growing Home Prices
Eleven Chester County places are among the fifty cities with the fastest-growing home prices in Pennsylvania, with one taking the top spot, according to a new report from Stacker.
Devon ranked in first place statewide with a 1-year price increase of $65,095 (8.0 percent) and a five-year price increase of $257,712 (41.7 percent). A typical home value in Devon is now $875,678.
Berwyn is second on the list with a 1-year change of $44,701 (5.6 percent) and a five-year change of $243,742 (40.3 percent). A typical home value is currently $849,138.
Chesterbrook is next at No. 8. The town recorded a 1-year price change of $31,686 (7.1 percent) and a 5-year price change of $159,412 (50.2 percent).
Chester Springs also made the top ten at No. 9. The recorded increases are $30,212 (4.6 percent) for one year and $204,760 (42.7 percent) for five years.
