Ten Chester County companies ranked among the 76 fastest-growing companies in the Philadelphia region in 2023, with one taking the top spot, writes Lisa Dukart for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

To make the list, the companies had to record sustained year-over-year revenue growth in the reviewed period from 2020 to 2022 and be headquartered locally.

Wayne-based Aclaris Therapeutics ranked in first place, with a two-year revenue growth rate of 172.18 percent. The biopharmaceutical company recorded 2020 revenue of $6.48 million and $6.76 million the following year. Last year, that number more than quadrupled to $29.75 million.

Second place is also reserved for a Chester County company. AscellaHealth in Berwyn grew its revenue by 150.73 percent from 2020 to 2022, from $83.35 million to $405.53 million.

West Chester-based Stream Cos. and Malvern-based Turnberry Solutions ranked in fourth and fifth place, respectively. Stream recorded a two-year revenue growth rate of 146 percent, while Turnberry recorded a 129.69 percent growth.

Other local companies on the list are Malvern-based Tela Bio at No. 27, West Chester’s fullthrottle.ai at No. 31, Malvern’s Top Stack at No. 43 and Greencastle Associates Consulting at No. 44, Green Lawn Fertilizing/Green Pest Solutions in West Chester at No. 58, and Exton-based Spherix Global Insights at No. 73.
