The new $100 million facility will be on Lowery Valley Road and will produce packaging for processed food, beverage, shipping distribution, and e-commerce customers.

The location of the new facility, the Atglen Box Plant, is due to its access to a skilled workforce, transportation, and proximity to markets.

“After months of hard work, it is exciting to see construction complete with machines running,” said Darrin Hinds, regional general manager of International Paper.

“Helping to create what’s next by making fiber-based sustainable products our customers value.”
