The fall is the best time to indulge in the seasonal flavors and try some of the mouthwatering autumnal dishes prepared by top chefs in Chester County, writes Ben Silver for Main Line Today.

Chaddsford Winery in Chadds Ford is an oenophile oasis that welcomes the fall with the spiced apple ginger mule fall cocktail that perfectly blends the winery’s spiced apple wine with fresh ginger vodka from Boardroom Spirits, lime juice, and ginger beer. It also presents a perfect photo opportunity as it is served in a cold copper mug garnished with a lime wedge and cinnamon stick.

Meanwhile, at Dixie Picnic in Malvern, you can try the eatery’s signature “upcake” (an upside-down cupcake). It comes in several delicious flavors, including sweet seasonal pumpkin, brown butter, and blueberry pancake.

Finally, one of the autumn favorites at Dressler Estate in Downingtown is the Outpost cider. This classic is characterized by brown sugar added pre-fermentation and offers notes of toffee, molasses, butterscotch, treacle, and baked apple. It is a perfect seasonal treat that is, with its 10 percent ABV, guaranteed to warm you up on a cold fall afternoon.
